Laughter is the best medicine...a fact that is well-known
Laughter lightens life's burdens, of others and my own
It is a fact...not just a rumor
That even saddened souls smile at my humor
A way with words has always been my special gift
A life raft I can throw to those who are adrift
God, inspire me with the perfect words to say
To those around me in need of a healing today
I am a Healer, in this life, this is my role
I administer that dose of humor that helps God heal the soul
